Ms. Nancy Himel, teacher from LA School District, and her class studiied “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner” by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, and then she invited them to capture the tale in fourteen words, ending ina rhymed couplet! First, Ms. Himel wrote a sample lazy  sonnet then invited her students to draft their own.  Below is the lazy sonnet she wrote along with her students.
