Leadership can be a challenging
With the demands on teacher leaders, planning meetings that are informative, inspiring, and engaging creates just one more challenge. With a little help from experienced leaders, current and future department chairs and literacy leaders can learn ways to make these mandatory gatherings a welcome opportunity to exchange information, to share classroom practice strategies, and to encourage one another as professionals. How do successful leaders do it? In this interactive workshop participants learned ways to maximize department and team meetings and also have time to share strategies they use to maintain the morale of those with whom they work.
Viewing these slides from a recent Leadership Workshop CEL – Boston may be just what you need to remind you of ways to meet the challenges of implementing the Common Core Standards in your school or district.
